From time to time, members may encounter personal situations that may interrupt their ability to work out. In these instances, a membership may be placed on hold. Please be advised, however, that there are strict guidelines for placing a membership on hold, based on the Wellness Center's policies and procedures. We suggest that you meet with a membership representative as soon as possible after learning that you may need to place your membership on hold.

As stated below, on-hold status cannot be backdated, so it is imperative that you first complete the necessary paperwork and check to see if you are eligible for on-hold status based on the following criteria.

Memberships may be placed on hold for a minimum of two (2) months and a maximum of six (6) months if:

1) You are physically incapable of using the Center;member must provide proper documentation from physician;

2) You are out-of-town for the above stated period and can provide a forwarding out-of-town address during this period; or

3) You are out-of-town for the above stated period because of temporary work relocation or college attendance; must provide proof or documentation.

To take advantage of on-hold status you must complete and provide all necessary documents required by the Center and pay any applicable fees that the Center requires for the Center to approve the on-hold status. Again, on-hold status cannot be backdated.
