We are excited to offer Watsu Water Massage with Tsue French, an Oasis Spa licensed massage therapist. Watsu is a Zen-Shiatsu style massage given in our warm therapy pool. The Watsu therapist will attach flotation bands around the clients calves, and float the client by supporting the head with her hand, arm or shoulder. As the client is floated and moved gracefully through the water, the warmth and support promotes a deep state of relaxation, decompresses joints and passively stretches muscles.
Our top notch aquatic program is now on the map thanks to Tsue French, who was willing to camp at the hot springs and endure three weeks of intensive training to become certified in Watsu.
Watsu sessions are 60-minutes in the water, with a short intake pool side. Clients should arrive at the Oasis Spa 15 minutes before their scheduled session to allow for maximum pool time.
60-minute Watsu sessions are schedule through the Oasis Spa, 896-3900 x121.
